Who is Liv

Retired English teacher and author Liv Rosin’s life changed drastically in 2011 after she survived a hemorrhagic stroke. Liv has been a teacher for over 35 years, and her book, My Stroke of Blessings – A Message of Hope, reflects her love of learning, faith, and serving others. She talks about her journey to recovery, emphasizing how her family’s support and faith enabled her to regain control of her life. Liv has been recognized with prestigious awards like the Sallie Mae First Class Teaching and Golden Apple Teacher Awards and was also an editor at Augsburg Fortress Publishing.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Liv is deeply committed to her family and community. Married to Mark Rosin since 1986, they have three children—Seth, Aeli, and Ben. Liv’s memoir, which she began writing while still recovering in the hospital, reveals her determination not to be defined by her stroke. Through candid storytelling, Liv offers readers insight into the challenges of traumatic brain injuries and hopes to inspire others by showing that blessings can be found even in the most harrowing circumstances.
